ABOUT VIGILANTE...

since its inception 30 years ago, Vigilante Mini Storage is the largest mini storage and U-Haul
facility, offering the best service and selection in Western Montana. The first mini storage
location was on Mullan Road in Missoula at the historical site known for the hanging of
the first outlaws, or "Road Agents," tried and found guilty for the robbery of
numerous stagecoaches and miners during the late 1800's. The capture and ultimate
death sentences were undertaken by a secret society, known as "Vigilantes", made
up of area residents who wanted to restore law, order and safety to the valley in which
Missoula is located, and to the Montana Territory. Although the restoration of
law and order by vigilante societies today has been outlawed, the name
"Vigilante" has remained with the business through time to uphold the same
reputation of "safety and security" valued by the area residents of the
1800's. Vigilante Mini Storage has been at its current location of 4050 West
Broadway since 1975. Always looking for new ways to better serve the needs of its customers, Vigilante became an authorized U-Haul dealer in 1994. To make the moving and storage experience easier, the rental office has moving supplies of all kinds available -- from locks, boxes, tape and rope, to hitch balls and trailer light adapters.
